      pfSense v2.4.4
      I need to reset states between my phone system (Samsung) and SIP provider (Clearfly) every time the WAN goes down for some reason.

      The WAN ip is static (although using DHCP) and does not change when the WAN bounces. I have seen some older discussions on this topic but was understanding that this issue has been resolved in recent versions of pfSense. The WAN connection is a cable provider.

      Any thoughts on what I can to to mitigate this issue?

        https://www.freebsd.org/cgi/man.cgi?query=pfctl&sektion=8

        -k host | network | label | id
        Kill all of the state entries matching the specified host,
        network, label, or id.

             For example, to kill all of the state entries originating from
             ``host'':

        	   # pfctl -k host

            @grimson
            Thanks for pointing that out to me. I will give that a try to see if it resolves the issue.
