    Well, hopefully this is the correct place to do this. I was directed to "the forum", but not told what forum that was.

    I have been trying to install pfDNS as described here: http://blog.pfsense.org/?p=244

    Anyway, I've downloaded the iso, and attempted to install to a harddrive by two different methods, first by putting the drive in a Dell laptop and booting the CD, and then by creating a VM and booting the iso image.  After booting the iso/cd, I ^C to exit the application, then enter "99" to install to a drive. In either case the results are:

    Enter an option: 99

    Launching pfDNS Installer…

    One moment please…

    No matching processes were found
    kern.geom.debugflags: 0 -> 16
    cat: /var/log/dmesg.boot: No such file or directory
    cat: /var/log/dmesg.boot: No such file or directory
    Launching LUA Installer…

    At this point, the install hangs.

    I would appreciate any help, or friendly redirection to the proper place to post to if not here.

    Thanks,
    sjf

      Assuming you've already tried another download in case it was just a bad ISO file?
