Beginner here with pfSense. Just received my SG-1100 and have begun configuring it. Now up to packages, and selecting Available Packages results in either no packages displaying or if packages display, trying to install AVAHI package results in failure at different stages, on different attempts. Am I missing something? 2.4.4releasep2 status latest version installed. Thanks for feedback in advance.

A bit of bad timing, we have an issue with our package server; I would wait a little bit and try again later.

Looks like all is well on the Package front. Fixed Yesterday. Thinking a message like "Unable to reach package Server" would have indicated to me that the issue is not local, VS thinking I have a local issue when it says "No package available", which what the result shortly after the fails. Just a thought. Thank you.

                      I totally agree.
I think there should have been a message on the netgate.com frontpage indicating there was a ongoing a ssue. Or like I suggested in another thread, some sort of service status page.

We were a bit late on twitter, we don't do RSS feeds, nor really have much on our blog for service issues.

We are hoping the delay on twitter has been corrected.
