      Hello folks,

I have just begun to explore the abilites of the pfSense software. As such, I am not familiar yet with decoding all the error messages, and I'm hoping others can lend some expertise :)

In my system log, I receive the following errors, nearly nonstop:

Mar 12 09:30:17 dhclient[18772]: Many bogus options seen in offers. Taking this offer in spite of bogus options - hope for the best!
Mar 12 09:30:17 dhclient[18772]: Many bogus options seen in offers. Taking this offer in spite of bogus options - hope for the best!
      Mar 12 09:30:17 dhclient[18772]: option domain-name-servers (8) larger than buffer.
      Mar 12 09:30:17 dhclient[18772]: option domain-name-servers (8) larger than buffer.
      Mar 12 09:28:19 dhclient[18772]: rejecting bogus offer.

      Mar 12 09:26:46 dhclient[18772]: rejecting bogus offer.
      Mar 12 09:26:46 dhclient[18772]: option host-name (6) larger than buffer.
      Mar 12 09:26:46 dhclient[18772]: option host-name (6) larger than buffer.
      Mar 12 09:26:07 dhclient[18772]: rejecting bogus offer.
      Mar 12 09:26:07 dhclient[18772]: rejecting bogus offer.
      Mar 12 09:26:07 dhclient[18772]: option host-name (6) larger than buffer.
      Mar 12 09:26:07 dhclient[18772]: option host-name (6) larger than buffer.

Although my firewall seems to work fine, I would hate for this to cause future problems. Can it be safely ignored? If not, what should I do to try and fix?

      Thanks in advance.
