Download speed ??

dear pfsense..
after "new" install pfsense, then distribute to the 5 clients. I found something ? when client wants to download file from email / web/ another the download speed can not maximum ? always decrease until 1 Kb/s. After install squid package, i'm not setup anything on the squid traffic management
i'm still confuse, why the client can not get maximum speed..?? at least they can get 26 Kb/sregards

after search many squid articels, but i can not find anything to give the right answer WHY, squid in pfsense decreas the download speed ??

can you give me explain? because i do not understand what the problem solve? i'm realy newbie use this pfsensedo you cofigure something? to make download speed realitstic ?

You have to edit /boot/loader.conf (diagnostic/edit file from pfSense GUI) and comment (put # in the beginning of line) kern.ipc.nmbclusters="0".
After this you need to restart squid service (status/services from pfSense GUI) or restart pfSense itself (diagnostic/reboot system from pfSense GUI).Hope it will help.
