I have a lot of log entries for source of lo0 and destination of lo0:953. I would like to know what might be causing this and if it is a result of a misconfiguration.

pfSense 2.4.4-p2 on SG-2440. I am not running bind, I am using DNS Resolver all internet interfaces enabled and w/ DNSSEC enabled (I have tried enabling all interfaces excluding loopback without success). Forwarder is not enabled. In General Settings I have DNS 9.9.9.9. I do run pfBlocker.

Screenshot of firewall log filtered on source=127.0.0.1:

Would appreciate some help sorting this out.

rndc — name server control utility

It has something to do with BIND.

PfSense running on Qotom mini PC
i5 CPU, 4 GB memory, 32 GB SSD & 4 Intel Gb Ethernet ports.
      UniFi AC-Lite access point

      I haven't lost my mind. It's around here...somewhere...

As stated in original post, I'm NOT using Bind.
