Either your default gateway is broken somehow, or your DNS is broken somehow.

First, go to System > Routing, check that you have a default gateway set and that the default gateway shows properly on Diagnostics > Routes. If not, then pick a default gateway and save/apply the change.

Then check your DNS, make sure you can resolve files00.netgate.com and files01.netgate.com from the firewall itself (Diagnostics > DNS Lookup) or from the shell with host or similar. Also try to ping out to an Internet host from Diagnostics > Ping

It's ok that you invent something yourself, but when pfSense indicates you (the red text !) that it was wrong, I advise you that you do what has been proposed :

                The host name is files00.netgate.com
Not http://files00.netgate.com/ which is something completely different.

Edit : and where are the logs ??

The fact that you have this 'error', not being able to ping an existing host & domain isn't a real issue.
                    These two : files00.netgate.com and files01.netgate.com
have A records but they probably do not return your ping requests.

But .... no body asked you to ping them.

I advise you to read this carefully :

@jimp said in no repo package load error :acces repo:

make sure you can resolve files00.netgate.com and files01.netgate.com from the firewall itself (Diagnostics > DNS Lookup) or from the shell with host or similar.

@jimp was asking if you could resolve files00.netgate.com and files01.netgate.com - and if so, ping them.
What was the resolve result ?

Btw : files00.netgate.com and files01.netgate.com do reply on ping.
