      Hello, Newbie here.
I am in the process of installing pfsense on a PPPoE connection (I am in the UK BTW). I note an unrecognised monitor IP for my WAN set-up. I searched but couldn't find an easy to understand answer for monitor IP as in why this is needed and how do you assign one.

I understand monitor IP is required in a multi WAN scenario only (Imay be wrong here), but I only have a single WAN. Also, in my case, I am able to connect to internet but the random monitor IP has appeared automatically (perhaps assigned by my ISP). Should I be worried or is this a standard feaure for PPPoE? Thanks.
