      hello,

      I need a FTP server. I do this :

      • I use Openmediavault IP 50.0.1.50 FTP server (port 21) + passive port 60000 and 60500

      In Pfsense :

      • I set NAT port 21 for IP 50.0.1.50

      • I set NAT passive port 60000 and 60500 for IP 50.0.1.50

With this I am be able to access with a client FTP WinSCP or FileZilla... But if I need to do php backup for my blog Wordpress It says can access BUT cannot write. :-/
I tried another thing, I have another connection manage by a simple Modem, I do same with simple port forwarding and it works!

Something wrong in my pfsense. Help please.

      info :
      2.4.4-RELEASE (amd64)
built on Thu Sep 20 09:03:12 EDT 2018
      FreeBSD 11.2-RELEASE-p3

Probably a setting on your FTP server like telling the client what the true external address is, or a user account permission issue. Though without the actual error log it's hard to say.

Is that WP backup being encrypted before it is sent over FTP? Using remote FTP to backup sensitive data seems like a horribly insecure method.
