Is it possible to load balance two wan connection that are on the same subnet without using an external router inline with one of the connections?

      Hi
I have two internet connections that are 25/10mbps and I was hoping I could do a load balance between them. so I've built myself a PfSsense box from an old pc I had and hocked up the two connections to it. and while everything works correctly I couldn't get load balancing to work. and upon further searching, I found out that load balancing does not work if the connections have the same gateway and one way around it is to simply put a router in between to change one of the connections subnet. now I'm wondering if there is a way to do something similar to that but internally from within PfSense. or if there is another way of making it work.
Thanks in advance and best regards
