      Hello everybody.

I'm working on a project that use DELL EMC POWEREDGE R640 as server.
I'm doing a study about Hardware compatibility and I wish to know what type of Network cards are supported by pfSense.

Actually I can't find a document about network card recommended to use for pfSense or are supported by it.

      Thank you very much

NICs supported by FreeBSD will work with pfSense.

Yeah, basically this for pfSense 2.4.4:
          https://www.freebsd.org/releases/11.2R/hardware.html#ethernet

It's recommended you use Intel NICs if you can.

Thank you both of you for your advices.

Actually this server has either broadcom or intel NIC

I concluded the study by recommending choosing the one with Intel NIC.
I hope there will be no problem during the installation and the configuration.
