    Upgrade from 2.4.2 to 2.4.4. Failed

      I am getting the warning "PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library "xmlreader.so" (tried /usr/local/lib/php/20131226/xmlreader.so (usr/local.lob/php/20131226/xmlreader.so:Undefined symbol "dom_node_class_entry), /usr/local.lib/php/20131226/xmlreader.so.so (/usr/local/lib/php/20131226/xmlreader.sp.so: Invalid File format)) inUnknown on line 0
      pfSense tools 4) reset to factory defaults 5) Reboot System 60 Halt System 7) Ping host 8) Shell 13)Update from console 14)Enable Secure Shell (sshd) 15) Restore recent configuration 16) Restart PHP-FPM

      It will not allow me to select 15.

      ANY help would be greatly appreciated.

        Reinstall 2.4.4 with Recover config.xml option: https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/backup/automatically-restore-during-install.html

          @rico Do you know if the config.xml must be on the USB I am booting from?

            Noop.
            Typically, it will find the config.xml on the installation drive.

            Pick the existing installation drive (e.g. ada0), the selection list shows the disk name, size, and filesystem type which is typically enough to identify the disk

            But it's always good to salvage a copy upfront.

            Edit : and where are the logs ??

              Thanks a million. I had to install a fresh install of 2.4.4 and restore the 2.4.2 config file from the GUI. It took a little while but everything is up and running.
