      Hello ,

I am new in this world , so I hope I døn't ask stupid questions. I have a machine with WAN and LAN network cards. It runs on Windows 10 and I have installed VMware Workstation. I run pfSense on VMware.I have another machine with installed Windows Server 2016. I want to use pfSense as router and firewall, but I can't make the right settings ... .
In VMware I added second network adapter . First network adapter, which is used by WAN is set on Bridged networking. WAN is set to em0 and use DHCP to set an IP (10.61.0.13/15). LAN is set to em1 and I set manually an IP 192.168.55.1 , also network prefix is set to 24.
On Windows Server 2016 machine I set manually:
      IP 192.168.55.204
      mask 255.255.255.0
      default gateway 192.168.55.1
      dns 8.8.8.8
The result is : no internet on Windows Server machine ..
      I found that :
      Valid interfaces are:
      em0 Intel(R) PRO/1000 Legacy Network Connection 1.
      em1 Intel(R) PRO/1000 Legacy Network Connection 1.
Both interfaces are using the same network adapter. The second na is not visible and not assigned. I try to change options in VMware but without success.

      Thank you in advance

I read a bit more about it and I think I must use vSphere Hypervisor. Thank you
