Just got up and had no internet this morning. To solve it I had to reboot Pfsense.
Is there any logs I can look into to see why pfsense stopped working?
      I'm running 2.4.4-RELEASE-p2 (amd64)

        Something like this : https://forum.netgate.com/topic/140984/pfsense-unresponsive ?

You could check you main Status => System Logs => System => General log.
To have more details, have them send over to an external log server (syslogger).
Even better : keep a track of your resources.

The last one, when implemented, behaves like Murphy's law upside down : if you can see what could go wrong, then it won't happen.

Btw : there are also bad RAM issues, more general hardware issues, power issues, etc.

I could still login to the pfsense UI so it was not completely down. When I seen that it was down I tried to view my cable modem UI and it would not load. I got the squid webpage saying the URL was not available.

Can I install Munin on 2.4.4-RELEASE-p2

            That's a good question that I can't answer.
I realized that I'm upgrading pfSense ever since .... somewhere in 2015, when I installed munin as a FreeBSD package, not a pfSense package - on pfSense.
Among others, I used https://forum.netgate.com/topic/104705/munin-node-package-for-2-3 and some other posts on this forum (use the Serach function) to install and setup a munin slave on my pfSense. It works ever since.
FreeBSD package maintenance changed somewhat but I'm pretty sure the concept is still valid.
