I have tried to look for other alternatives to the Netgear 10G smart managed pro switches and yet to find anyone else making these types of switches

      https://www.netgear.com/business/products/switches/smart/10g-smart-switch.aspx

Maybe i just haven't been lucky or the alternatives arent just as popular, so here is my question to find out.
Obviously something within similar price range or cheaper.

      Thanks

Hi @uberwebguru - how many 10Gbit copper ports do you need? One alternative worth considering might be the Ubiquiti ES-16-XG which has 12 10Gbit SFP+ ports and 4 10Gbit RJ45 ports for around $600.

@uberwebguru Why do you look for alternatives; what do you dislike about these Netgear devices?

I heard good things about the D-Link DGS-1510 switches in this forum but they only have 2x SFP+ uplink ports.
Alternatives could be D-Link DXS-1100 or DXS-1200 series. But I neither heard nor know anything about those series.

I was talking to Netgear's Laurent Masia at a recent trade show about their M4300 Intelligent Edge Series switches my industry uses for AV over IP. He somewhat confirmed what we dislike about their home series switches and encouraged to have a look at the professional series.

Dlink DGS-1510-28X has 4 SFP. We use a couple of them and they seem to be pretty solid.

Right, but how many do you need? You were talking about 20 10G ports total on the other thread.

those are not all 10G ports

According to the graphics on the front of our switches they are. And we have them populated with 10g fiber ports connected at 10G. The link I posted from Amazon- "Four (4) 10-Gigabit SFP+ Ports"

I think it depends on the model. We chose these because we needed 4 minimum for our purposes.
