      Hello,

I haven't heard anything about pfSense 3.0/rewriting in Python lately, are there still plans for this?

3.0?? They just announced that they are working on 2.5.0, due for release later this year.

I didn't believe it but it's true, they said it. https://www.netgate.com/blog/further-a-roadmap-for-pfsense.html

I think by now though it's probably not happening.

Though I did find this. https://www.reddit.com/r/PFSENSE/comments/6wosx8/a_very_short_preview_of_30_cli_and_restconf/

I have a feeling tnsr derailed the whole thing and it was either shelved or put on hold.

After doing a bit more reading I'm going to guess that tnsr is pfSense 3.0 but it's still missing some of the stuff discussed in the blog.

TNSR is a completely different product than pfSense, and both will be developed concurrently from what the Netgate people have said recently.
