Problems using pfSense 2.4.4 in a non-internet-contact environment

Hello,

I want to use the pfSense 2.4.4 in a closed network without contact to the internet, but the 2.4.4 version in standard configuration results in long breaks while using the webinterface, if there is no internet answering.
Is there a manual or instruction how to configure the pfsense 2.4.4 in an environment with no contact to the internet?

It's a known issue. It looks like there are some tweaks and suggestions in that thread. I have never had to use any of them, so your mileage may vary....
