I still have periodic issues with the SG-1000. Biggest problem is if the power ever goes out, it seems like the system always needs a lot of work to get running again.

So I'm looking at the new SG-1100 possibly - does anyone know if it's config compatible? For example get a new unit, restore the config xml backup, and I'd be good to go?

      Thanks in advance.

I have not tried myself but restoring the SG-1000 config to SG-1100 should work out of the box. The only thing I'd expect you need to do is reassign the Interfaces from local console after the first boot when restored.

It would not restore directly into 2.4.4p2 because of the missing switch/vlan config. We are working on allowing that in 2.5.

It's relatively easy to add it though, we can help with that if you hit any problems.

I pulled the trigger and did this - you need to restore the VLAN config from factory over top of a restore, and it then works okay.
