Just a quick (and probably silly) question

If I add multiple monitoring ips for a specific wan, does it mean it will only mark it as down if all of them stop responding or if one of them stops responding.

At the moment I only have it ping 1 ip, but thinking about it if that server goes down then pfsense would think that wan is down and disable a perfectly functional connection.  :-\

How would you want t to at that to have "multiple monitor IPs for a single gateway"?
Because the last time i checked it was only possible to have one monitor IP for one gateway.

(Of course you can have the same gateway multiple time, but then it's not "the same gateway" even if it is the same IP ;) )

If you're worried about monitor IPs being down.
Just take another IP as monitor.

We do what we must, because we can.
