      Hi guys.

      Running pfsense 2.4.4_p2.

I'm working with bind from packages, I'm curios.

If we use pfsense default dns service like resolver, in the file:

      /etc/resolv.conf

We found the line like this one:

      nameserver 127.0.0.1
      nameserver 8.8.8.8
      nameserver 1.1.1.1
      search bos.local

But if we use Bind, pfsense remove the localhost, won't matter if we chose LAN+localhost or ALL interfaces.

Latter, if we have a DHCP server on pf, once we enable Bind and a client request a IP, pf sends in the dns parameters the records we found in the General Setup, won't send the Lan IP of the pf box.

      This is normal?

      Thanks for your time.
