Does anybody know what the state of support for either the Sangoma S518 or SpeedStream 3060 modems is these days?

The Sangoma S518 does have drivers available for FreeBSD 6.x and earlier (and 7.x in beta), but to build the wanpipe modules, one needs bash and probably a full development environment installed.  I don't know if the development installation of pfSense would do it.  It might, but I haven't tried.

And what about the SpeedStream 3060?  It doesn't seem to be that popular in the linux or BSD realm.

My goal is to build a load-balancing - 2 ADSL connections - firewall.

      TIA
