      Hello,

I am using pfsense as my main router, and currently using my Google Wifi pucks in bridged mode for wireless. I'd like to change Google Wifi to mesh mode which will turn one of the pucks into a router. I need this to create a guest 2.4ghz only network for some of the devices that don't support shared 5ghz/2.4ghz wifi. Is it possible to add static routes or something else to allow communication between my LAN devices and the Google Wifi IP/Subnet when it's also acting as a router and DHCP server?

The short answer is yes... it's pretty straight forward from the PFsense side, but you can only manage Google WiFi from a mobile app... so the real question is... can you add static routes from the Google WiFi app? If the answer is no, then it's not going to work the way you want it to.

Looks like i'd have to root the Google Wifi's to do that. I might give it a shot and see how it goes.
