      Hi,

      I'm tring to use a vm on esxi that needs to set promiscuous mode. This vm create a site to site vpn for disaster recovery porpuse (is the appliance from acronis DR service).
      Problems starts when this Appliance is running because firewall seems no longer able to route traffic between internal networks (Lan server, lan client, dmz). All networks can go to internet and all hosts in the same network can reach others. If I stop this appliance, everything works again.

      I have read about some problems with pfsense vm and carp but we have only one phisical firewall that use carp.
      We dont have any kind of teaming or similar in vmware, is a simple vmware esxi free with a vm with dedicated nic assigned to dedicated network port
