/20 subnet mask
-
hello,
i just saw that my internet provider is assigning me a ip with a /20 subnet mask... does that mean i would be able to set up multiple publicly accessible ip addresses?. -
No what it means is the L3 your device is connecting to is a /20 - ie all the other customers on the same network as you... doesn't mean you can use more than the IP(s) they allow you to use.
