      Hi there,

I'm new to PFSnese and was hoping someone might be able to help me? I'm not sure if this post should be hear or in the VPN section.

I've been working on this now for a number of weeks but keep failing, i've tried searching the forums and youtube videos but just can't seem to crack it.

I'm basically trying to setup a site to site VPN but i'm stuck with using the ASUS DSL-AC68U modem/router at one site. I've managed to setup the PFSense OpenVPN server and managed to setup the ASUS box as a client and all is working well. I'm able to access files on my server on the PFSense end from machines connected to the ASUS end. However where i'm failing miserably is getting the routing right to go back the other way. I've tried mutiple things to be able to access the backup server on the ASUS end from machines on the PFSense end (hope this is making sense) but I just can't get it to work.

Is someone able to talk me through in simple terms how to get this to work, or if this is even if what i'm trying to do is even possible.

      Thanks in advance,

      Ian.

Not sure about the original ASUS firmware, but I have like 10 ASUS RT-AC68U with DD-WRT connected as Site-to-Site OpenVPN to my pfSense Server. Everything working very great and robust.
I'd recommend to check if DD-WRT is available for your ASUS DSL-AC68U.
