    Hi there

I have an Intel i3-8100 quad core CPU and would like to ensure that system responsiveness is maximized.

Two "markers" for gauging success in this regard could be:-

    1. Lowering the Gateway RTT to the absolute minimum possible, and

    2. also to keep to the absolute minimum the NTP offset delta as reported by the OS/ntp daemon.

I have currently turned off all C states and am about to lower the dynamic vcore (to save a little power) by around -0.140 mV or so.

Do you see any issues with this approach and can you comment on additional methods to lower the aforementioned markers?

    Thank-you in advance

    A.
