      Hy

My problem is that i wanted to install pfsense to a new machine, and after installed 2.4.4_3 sometimes pfsense didnt se the plus nic.
After a restart the nic is visible everything is fine. At the next restart the nic didnt visible, and so it on randomly.
Does anyone have an ide for this?
The cfg is in the thread.

      Thanks for the help!

Does the driver fail to attach or is the card not even visible on the PCIe bus when it does not come up?

Try running pciconf -lv to confirm.

If it does not appear there it's probably some PCI initialisation issue at the BIOS level. Make sure it's running the latest BIOS.

Thanks for the reply it semms to be the nic has a random fault, i changed it and now no problem with the interfaces.
But now i tried to reload my cfg from the pfsense i want to move, and everything is okey but after the restart i cant ping the host and reach the dashboard.
The mainboards 2 nic is in lagg, and im trying to reach at the plus nic.

You imported it from identical hardware?

If not the interface ordering could have changed. Connect at the console, connect an active connection to each NIC and see which interface shows as UP. Check they in the order you expect.

Now yes, there was a little mistake in my test routers cfg, plus the pfsense needed a restart to work with it.
I will open a nother case for the HA sync setup because i want to build it from the 2 servers, but im totaly blind in it.
