XG-7100 Receiving 502 Bad Gateway (nginx) error
-
I don't mind seeing this on home grown boxes but to see this on an XG-7100 for a customer site does not build confidence with the customer. Was running 2.4.3 so I figured performing an upgrade to 2.4.4-RELEASE-p3 would take care of it. Sadly it did not.
I went through the system.log and nginx.log in hopes of seeing what may have triggered it but sadly /var/run/php-fpm is the only consistent info ever provided.
I know there are quite a few threads out there about this and it goes back a few years. I was really hoping that at least on the Official Netgate Hardware, this would not happen which is why we opted to have the customer buy Netgate. But it does appear that even the official software/hardware is not immune to the bug.
The customer is breathing down our necks, especially since we pushed this product pretty hard. We would really appreciate if Netgate can provide assistance with this and help get a resolution.
Thank you.

Not too many details on what is going on here.
If you purchased support from Us, you can open a ticket. Email sales@netgate(dot)com if you would like to have our team investigate this customer facing issue.
The forums are great, but if this is a company you should have support with SLA's tied to it.
At minimum I would try a re-image and go from there, you can get that from https://go.netgate.com
When we see 502 errors 99.999% of the time there is a configuration issue.
