I got Hacked By Unlock through my Borrower
-
I traced it back to Ublock and I think it was a leak of some kind or hack because some one was trying to login to my VPS under my IP address, it took me a while to find out it was coming from my browser, but have a look bellow:
adblockplus.org/easylist.txt
adblockplus.org/easyprivacy.txt
hirdparties/mirror1.malwaredomains.com/files/justdomains
pgl.yoyo.org/as/serverlist
The thing that gets me is they are the same lists I use in PfBlocker.
I was wondering if I should add squidguard for blocking as well ?I wondered what the best packages to use are for blocking sites apart from PfBlocker?
What do you guys think?
Im using Brave browser now and its very good btw.

You only have pfB or squid+squidguard to choose from. You don't need both, especially if you have them set to use the same blacklists.
-
Yes u dont need both,if u r using same blacklists.

O damn I didn't really know that! God I'm such a noob sometimes lol
I did try squidguard but I couldn't get it to stay running so I'm guessing it was because I didn't install squid? At least Pfblocker runs, I just couldn't get squidguard to work but maybe I'll try again but install both squid+squidguard this time.
But yes I get it now they are the same lists stupid me.
This is only for my home network in the UK so I'm only interested in blocking companies that spy like the BBC, Capita and the Government.
Anyway, many thanks for your reply and appreciate it guys ;)

Yes, squidguard relies on squid to be installed first.
