      So I've read in FreeBSD 12 that they have merged Intel igp into em drivers. If I'm going to be testing a snapshot is it going to hose my igp VLANs where I have to manually migrate them all over? I hate the device numbering standard when they do such things...

        I assume you mean igb, not igp.

        And the driver may have changed but the ports are still em and igb as they were before. You should not notice any changes.

          Ahh yes, sorry for the mix up. Had to work late on a migration project last night and I'm kinda behind today.
