      Hi all,

      I have kind of a strange issue with pfsense 2.4.4_2 and DHCP.

      As mentioned we're running 2.4.4_3 on a Watchguard XTM8 with 8 interfaces.
      Today we are using 3 interfaces (192.168.1.0/24, 192.168.100.0/24 and 192.168.92.0/24) with separate DHCP on each interface.

      We first noticed this issue when someone connected a Sharp MFP to the 100.0 LAN and it didnt get any subnet or gateway from the DHCP.
      On the MFP they are just 0.0.0.0 and all set to DHCP. If i connect a win10 laptop to the same network cable it populates all DHCP entries. BUT it gives me a subnet of 255.255.0.0 and not 255.255.255.0 which the /24 network should be.

      When i go to "services, dhcp server" and the correct LAN interface (100.0) it says subnet 255.255.255.0 but it still gives 255.255.0.0 to the win10 machine. MFPs dont get any.

      This is only happening on the 192.168.100 interface. The other two interfaces works perfect and gives all dhcp items for both the MFP and the win10 machine. DHCP settings are identical on all interfaces.

      Nothing bogus in the dhcp syslog.

      Can anyone point me in the right direction?

      Cheers

      //Ray

        Sounds like you have another DHCP server active on that segment handing out the unexpected information. Check on the clients, it should show more information about where they obtained their lease. Run a packet capture on the segment, see what traffic shows up.
