      Hello folks,

i have taken a script from a developer from opnsense and I made some little adjustments for running under pfsense. If you want to use it you have to load the driver apuled.ko with the kldload command. apuled.zip After that you will find under /dev/led/ 3 devices: led1, led2, led3. You can use the script apu2led.zip in a every minute cronjob to show you the CPU, WAN and Disk-Status. (make the script executable via chmod +x apu2led.sh)
Here apuled.xls you can see the way the script makes the LEDs act.

      Enjoy,
      FireOdo

Isn't something like this already possible in the blinkled or gwled packages?

As far as I know only for ALIX, WRAP, Soekris (etc) but not for APU2,3.

@fireodo Did you test it? ALIX was pretty similar wired than the first APUs? Don't have one around to test though, that's why I was asking.

Maybe the APU1 was similar wired as the ALIX-Boards but not the APU2. I tested Blinkled and Gwled on my Apu2 Board and they where without effect.
And I'm not the only one: (see also: Apuled )
