      Hi,

      I cleanly installed PFSense on a Qotom Q575G6 to replace my Edgerouter. It has an i7-7500U and 8GB RAM. Except for additional NIC's and enabling AES nothing else has been configured.

      When I run a speedtest my download speed is only 95Mbps.
      On my Edgerouter with the same test I get 230Mbps with Traffic Analysis enabled.

      Is it possible to get the same throughput on PFSense? Are there settings I can change to speed it up?

      Regards

        It should easily pass that.
        95Mbps looks suspiciously like one link is negotiating (or is fixed at) 100Mb. Check the interface status.

            @stephenw10 You're correct. I should have known this :(
            To test the setup I used an old laptop. I thought it had a 1Gb interface, but it was only 100Mb. I now use another laptop with a 1Gb NIC and now I get the speed I want.
