I am utilizing the DNS resolver built into pfSense, I have two VPNs, I would like queries from hosts using VPN1 to exit the DNS resolver on VPN1, and hosts using VPN2 to have their queries exit the DNS resolver on VPN2

Is this possible using the DNS resolver?

I don't believe that you can dynamically control which interfaces unbound uses for external lookups. Its config allows you to choose which interfaces to use, but no way to change it on the fly.
