SG-1100 Restart Loop - No Access
-
I bought the SG-1100 over a month ago. I've had it sitting in-line in my network for awhile, without making any changes. I noticed, periodically, we'd lose access to the internet and the router .. and after checking the logs, I would find this:
Gateway alarm: WANGW (Addr:192.168.0.1 Alarm:0 RTT:26.505ms RTTsd:90.775ms Loss:100%)
After a bit of Googling, I found that having the ISP modem/router (non-bridged) can cause problems with FreeBSD. I can't recall the exact article. Regardless, I configured the ISP router to run as a bridged interface. So the SG-1100's WAN interface now received a public IP address. A couple of days later, ironically when I was on-call, the device is no longer responding and what appears to be a restart loop seems to be occurring.
I've provided a PCAP of me consistently pinging the LAN interface, while also trying to navigate to the dashboard:

For now, I've had to remove everything from the network except the modem/router because I need internet to do my job. When I have the time, I'll attempt to reset it and try to do something with this expensive paper-weight.
