Today I built a package for managing cron entries. Be careful with the default system entries that are already there. If you don't know what they are don't edit them. You can add as many new cron items as needed.

      Best Regards,

      mcrane

        1.2.3-RC2 built on Sun Jun 7 06:05:03 EDT 2009 FreeBSD 7.2-RELEASE i386.
php: The Cron package is missing required dependencies and must be reinstalled.
        Reinstall does not resolve…
        (Service started, seems working... !)

Works fine for you - with or w/o message in system log :
php: The Cron package is missing required dependencies and must be reinstalled ?

                Same "problem" here.

This package does not install cron because pfSense already has it. It does create a shell script to start it. And downloads files that I created to manage Cron. I reinstalled the package and do not see the error that others have reported. I will have to try it on a new install on some other machine.

I can stat that its not only not working, new entries made by webgui are not stored and if added by hand in crontab they are deleted! Seems to be work to do here. I have too the "missing dependencies"-line in my logs. Reinstalling didn't have any effect.
                    Very weird!
