I have a new Netgate XG-7100 1U unit. This was configured with a 256GB SSD.

I'm attempting to reinstall a new 2.4.4-p3 image, using ZFS.

I've selected ZFS as the filesystem, with the defaults, then selected my SSD device (G6312).

It appears to install, but then it gives me an error about "System configure failed - An installation step has been aborted. Would you like to restart the installation or exit the installer?".

Does anybody have any ideas what's going on?

Is there any way to see the exact error?

Any ideas on how to get past this?

Also, in the ZFS configuration screen - I noticed it asks me what partition scheme.

I believe by default it was set to "GPT (BIOS)".

        Is this what you want?

My XG-7100 is running with ZFS and I don't recall it taking anything special at the time.

Can you try again but note or screencap the exact set of options you chose in the installer?

Were you able to resolve this? What exact install image are you using?

            Steve
