I am using Pfsense 2.4.4-RELEASE-p2 as vm installed and purchased the netgate hardware SG-3100 . Please let me know if i can restore the pfsense from vm to hardware . Please share the pros and cons if any .....My thought, it should not be an issue.

      Yes that should work.

How many interfaces do you have in the VM? If it's more than 3 there would be some work required to separate LAN ports on the SG-3100 with the switch configuration. 3 or less should import directly.

Should be no problem then. When you restore the config in the GUI it should ask you re-assign the interfaces from whatever they are now to the mvnetaX NICs in the SG-3100 and then it will reboot into the new config.
However I recommend having the serial console connected for that process as in some situations you may need to assign them after the reboot at the console.
