I was looking at the PC Engine website & found this particular SBC.  It looks exactly like what I needed as it has a RTC backed up by a battery just like my regular desktop/laptop.  It troubled me that many SBC do not have it and Firewall VPN certificates & VOIP/PBX has issues when date & time drops to the year 2000, or so during a reset or power loss, or just moving it to different location.  Problems occur just when it didn't have the opportunity to update its clock from a local/remote time server.

Does anyone know or have this board already, and know where it is avail. in the US.  Netgate does not have it it seems.

      Thanks..

You can always order PC Engines stuff directly from them. It looks like this hardware hasn't actually come out yet, which is probably why the resellers aren't stocking it yet. Looks like a nice update though.

I'm hoping to get it as a kit, pre-assembled/tested as I no longer am into spending hours putting everything together.

By the way, the shipping (costs) from Europe to California, ain't pretty.. So, hoping to get it from a local reseller if possible.

Guess I'll just wait, as the battery option is only about $2.50 more and serves an important purpose for what I need it for.

Netgate will probably carry this when it is available. http://www.netgate.com
I have always had a good experience when ordering from them, and they offer assembled kits pre-loaded with pfSense.
