XML config file explained in detail

Hello to everyone,
I'm not sure if this is the right place for this topic, so please admins if it's wrong move it. I was wondering if there's a document that explains block by block the XML config file, and it's possible correspondence with the web interface. The aim is to exactly know what every XML block does in the PFSense configuration. Some parts may be clear, some others not!

I'm not aware of any such document. The xml file should be self-explanatory for the vast majority of things. Perhaps if you list what you're specifically not understanding, someone can help.
