Setting up a system to handle a primary cable connection and a backup dsl.

Setting up the gateways and all that seem straight forward but iam unsure of the ip assigning to the wan.

Due to much of the hardware involved requiing static ip or be from the same dns pool (192.168.1.1)

Now i am a pint low on blood at the moment so there a very good chance i am forgetting the obvious lol.

IP addressed assigned to WAN is determined by your ISP via either static IP assignment, or dynamically assigned (DHCP).

Once you have your WANs working, you can create a gateway group and put both in there, with your cable as tier 1 and the DSL as tier 2. Then you direct all traffic out the gateway group.
