Re: NAT Hairpinning for OpenVPN Server

I have been trying to figure out how to do this as well. The opnnvpn server works great when I am external to the network that houses the openvpn server...as expected. It would be convenient to just leave openvpn connect on when returning to the home network but pfsense is being asked to locate the external IP address fron inside the LAN so obviously it is failing. I’ve tried various NAT forwarding schemes but they are failing. I’ve tried turning on NAT reflection with pure NAT but that fails as well. Any suggestions?
