Do you have any plans to provide pfSense cloud image? I really dream of pfSense + CBSD symbiosis. Also a huge number of OpenStack, AWS, Azure, Proxmox, (and so on) users will be happily!

Pre-2.7.2/23.09: Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to restart, or more depending on packages and device speed.

Yes, I see β€œBuy Now” (The only cost is the EC2 instance) button, but I don’t see where the cloud image can be downloaded for use in a non-cloud solution (CBSD, Proxmox)

Usually it's just a matter of installing it however there are occasional issues/concerns:

Thanks for info, Steve! There are no problems with installing pfSense from an ISO image (even with bhyve virtualization). I am interested to see something like this:

So you want pfsense/netgate to create ready to boot images for every possible virtual software?

Just install from the iso, or usb installer

Once you have it installed once - you can take your own image, and then whenever you want another copy there you go.. I do this for most any os I install on any hypervisor.
