      Hello,

I am about to receive my SG-5100. I have already planned to upgrade RAM and add an SSD drive and I am looking for information on cooling to consider.

As far as I understood there are some thermal pads provided with the device.
Are they adequate in hot environments?
What is their thickness (if I want to replace them)?
Does anyone have experience on that topic?

      Thank you in advance !

They seem perfectly sufficient in the testing I have done. It does not run especially hot.

        See: https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/solutions/sg-5100/m-2-sata-installation.html
