I have an embedded setup. Apparently, i can't access the pfsense console using PuTTY through SSH. What should I do? I'm new to pfSense by the way. Any help would be much appreciated.

"Server unexpectedly closed the network connection". Error I get every time I try to connect.

embedded setup meaning what exactly? Where are you trying to ssh from? Did you enable ssh access in pfsense?

What version of putty? If really old version it might not support the current limits of cipher and algo's etc.

From your other thread I'm going to assume this was because you have not enabled SSH...
