    SquidGuard on pfSense 2.4.4: Segmentation Fault (core dumped)

      Tried multiple times to install and then reinstall squidguard but the service doesn't start.
      Running via shell squid -X on gives me Segmentation Fault (core dumped) with any possible configuration (blacklist on and off, with and without a Target category defined).
      Cache file seems to have never been generated in any case, which i guess might be caused all the time by the early termination of the executable.

        Remove squidguard and then try to get squid working alone first. If it still dies, check the System log for anything related.
