temperature range for SG-5100

What is an acceptable operating temperature range for the SG-5100?

The one I have here usually runs at ~45°C at mostly idle. That's as reported by the Coretemp driver.
I would not be concerned at anything below, say, 60°C. The maximum junction temp for the C3558 is 100°C.Steve

If you've got it "top of rack" that will also boost temps, maybe too high. Depends on what's in the rack, or the pile of computer stuff it's sitting on, obviously.

Been running it at 100% load since I posted that and it's now showing 52°C.
What temperatures are you actually seeing?Steve

I have one unit that is in an enclosed cabinet.
It's running 36.0°C.

Ok, then it's probably in a cooled environment or has some air flow across the case.
37°C is nothing to worry about.Steve

Great, just wanted to make sure. If there were a heat issue, would it shut it self down or throttle the CPU?

It would eventually though I've never seen it get hot enough to happen. I think there's a setting in the BIOS for that. No reason the change it though.
