I want to some work on my pfSense box using the Install USB in rescue mode.

How can I mount a partition - it appears that the root files system is readonly and there is no place to mount anything.

Can someone please offer some guidance?

        mount -u / # re-mount root as read/write
If it's a ZFS system you may need to run zfs mount -a

Does the file system of the install disk permit this?
