      Hi all,

      my current set up looks like this:

      (vlan11)wan0 -> pppoe connection through a web/telnet/ssh-manageable ADSL bridge
      (vlan12)wan1 -> dhcp connection through a web/telnet/ssh-manageable ADSL bridge

      Connecting to the dhcp assigned local address to the appliance connected to wan1 is - with the right rules - no problem at all.

      Though wan0 itself doesn't get an IP address itself, because the only interface which gets an IP is the 'virtual' ppp0 Interface (or however its named under bsd ;-)

      So… is there a way how I could assign the vlan where the ppp client is connecting to, gets a local IP address AND pppoe is able to use it, too?

      Thanks a lot for your help,

      cheers,

      Uli G

        Is therre no 'elegant' way, or do I have to assign the appropriate vlan interface simply another, second IP address?

        Cheers,
