      Hello.

We have just upgraded our Pfsesnse firewall vm from 2.4.4 to 2.4.4_3. Before the upgrade we had configured and working Squid with squidguard. We could change the squidguard configuration using the ui -> services -> squidguard. After the upgrade there is not squidguard in the services menu. In the system->package manager->installed packages we can see that squid and squidguard are both installed:

      squid 0.4.44_7

      squidGuard 1.16.18_2

Is this the expected behaviour? How do we can manage the squidguard config now?

      thanks

No, I have not tried to re-install the package. I do not know if is it possible to loose the current squid or squidguard configuration if I do reinstall the package. That is why I have not done it yet. If it is safe to reinstall the package I can try it

          Thanks

            Hello.

I have re-installed the squidguard package and re-booted the firewall. Now I can see squidguard on the services menu. And I have not lost the previous configuration for the service. Next step: play with the ssl url filtering.

            Thanks for your help.
